David Kavanagh
David Kavanagh is a Systemic Family Therapist with a background in Theology. He was trained by the Catholic Church in Maynooth in the area of Pastoral Studies where he learned how to prepare couples for marriage. He has written in numerous papers and appears on T.V. and radio frequently. He is well known to the press as the expert they call for commentary on sexuality, marriage, dating and relationships. David is married to Joanne who sometimes presents the course with him.
David has designed the course based around his work with troubled couples and it is designed to give you insight into preventing marital break-down and to help create a loving life-long experience. He has also worked with families for over 7 years so his Parenting workshops (see also 'Coping with Baby') are not to be missed.
David was until recently a weekly guest on TV3's 'The Sybil and Martin Show' as their Relationship Expert. Last year he finished a T.V. programme for BBCNI called 'You're not the man I married' where he helped couples to improve their marriages, and was also seen on 'Turbidy Tonight' in his capacity as Ireland's leading dating coach.
David lectures to college students on interview skills and reading Body Language and presents a fun seminar for single women called "Finding Mr. Right".
Recently he was the expert Judge on THE LATE LATE SHOW wedding competition.
Rachel Henderson
Rachel holds an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. She is an experienced Hypnotherapist who has worked with a large number of clients on a wide variety of issues, with positive and consistent results.
Rachel entered into full-time practice after 3 years under the expert guidance of Ireland’s longest serving hypnotherapist, the late Dr. Jack Gibson.
She is a member of the ICHP (Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy), Ireland’s ethical professional Association of Hypnotherapists and the NGH (American National Guild of Hypnotherapists).
Trish Murphy
Trish has been working in the area of Human Development since 1984. Her experience during this time has bridged many sectors including the voluntary, state and private sectors. In the past 13 years she has concentrated on the area of organizational human development. She was part of the teaching team on a Masters in Organisational Management programme with the University of Sunderland.
Trish is fully accredited in delivery of the cutting edge psychometric leadership emotional intelligence test (developed in Ireland). Prior to her current work in the psychotherapy and organisational fields she worked as a director of corporate services with a prominent institute and Employee Assistance Provider. Her knowledge in the field of Employee issues is large and her track record in this area is proven.
Trish has been invited on a commenter on a number of leading media televised and radio programmes including Prime Time, The Afternoon Show, The Pat Kenny radio show and Newstalk 106. She is also a regular sought to contribute to magazines and newspapers (Irish Times, Cork Examiner, RTE Guide, Image and The Gloss)
Currently, Trish divides her work between working as a psychotherapist, providing Redundancy Services, Corporate Training and Development, Employee Mediation and Critical Incidence.
